I own an executive search firm and am currently working with an independently owned creative advertising agency in New York to help them find a Business Development Manager.
The agency is well known for the creative advertising campaigns that it produces for a range of leading fashion and lifestyle clients.
To apply, candidates must have held a business development role for at least five years in an advertising or related agency, and have been responsible for the full cycle of business development including cold calling, writing of proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal are required, as is an appreciation and interest in the advertising and fashion industries. The agency desires an outgoing and social person who is able to cultivate new relationships through their existing network as well as the ability to strategically identify new opportunities. The ability to work in a creative and dynamic environment is essential.
Compensation: Competitive base salary based on experience plus commission
